About Cobham Village Stores

Cobham village shop sadly closed for business in February 2011.  The  shop was not only a vital amenity for local residents (particularly those unable to travel further a field)  but the hub of the community and a place to catch up with and meet other residents.  Tourists and visitors to Cobham also loved the shop too. The aim of the Cobham Shop Group, set up by local residents, is to explore the options for reopening the store as a community shop.

We are all in this together - and we are glad you are visiting our site.  None of this will be possible without the support of the local community and those who have an interest in Cobham and the local area.  There are a number of ways that you can help.

The next public meeting will be held on Weds 23rd May at 8.30pm in the Meadow Rooms. Please come along to hear a full update on progress with the shop project.  This is also your chance to ask questions about the project, about share ownership or about future plans for the shop.
